Annie's Version: We met in August of 2003 on the schoolbus. It was my second year on the bus & Noel's first. For some reason the minute I saw him I remembered his name from Elementary school. (We both went to Clair-Mel. We also went to Dowdell Middle School together but somehow never noticed one another). He also was really cute so I knew I HAD to be his friend. The first time I said hi to him was one afternoon on the ride home. He was sitting in the front all quiet & I was in the back with the "cool" kids. I remember going up to him & asking "Isn't your name Noel Martinez?" I guess he wanted to be funny & said "No" but I laughed it off knowing he was kidding. That afternoon was the start of a beautiful friendship. Everyday after that I always tried to find the way to talk to him. He was so funny & made me laugh endlessly. After a few months I felt really close to him so I started calling him my cousin. We would talk forever on Instant Message and for hours on the phone at night. After almost a year had passed and the friendship getting closer than I imagined, I ended up falling for him. I remember the one day after getting off the bus, I walked to my house, went to my room, knelt down & said "God. I think I love him." After admitting that, the emotions & love just grew & grew & there was no stopping it. He wrote me a letter one afternoon & ended it with "I love you." Of course I, being the emotional person that I am, thought that was my signal that he felt the same love as me so when we talked on Instant Message that afternoon I somehow ended up typing "I love you." Luckily, he called me like 30 seconds later telling me how he felt the same. We were an official couple on November 19, 2004. From that point & through out these past 4 years we have had plenty of ups & downs but till this day, he's still the one who makes me smile just by looking at me & who can melt me with his genuine love. I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him...................................................................................................
Noel's Version:
The Wedding will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 1pm. The ceremony will take place at Mision Maranatha and we will be married by Annie's pastor, Rev. Jose Rosado. Our ceremony is taking place here because it has been Annie's church for the past 13 years and we will feel blessed to have our marriage presented to God here.
Our reception will be held at the Egypt Shrine. It is a spacious place where we hope everyone will have an enjoyable afternoon/night and leave with full tummies :-D
For our honey moon we will be going on a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas! We will be gone from December 27th to December 31st and LOTS of pictures will be taken.
